Chimpanzee

Chimpanzee

Chimpanzees are members of the family of Hominidae along with Orang-utans, gorillas and humans.

The Chimpanzee is called upon when one is inclined to act first and reason later. There is focus that one is innovative and carefully planned approaches are needed. Chimpanzee's are thought to have originated from the human family over six million years ago.

Their fossils were found in the year 2005 when it was discovered they existed in West and Central Africa. Their fossils have now been reported from Kenya meaning that they lived in Kenya several million years ago.

They are two kinds of this totem animal, the common chimpanzee and the bonobo. There is just a slight anatomical difference between the two in terms of their sexual and social behaviors although they just look the same. The common chimpanzee is omnivorous hunter and of high complex social relationship while the bonobo has mostly frugivorous diet and has nonviolent, matriarchal, sexually receptive behavior.

They usually live in small social groups called communities which consist of multiple-male and the multiple female. Both the male and their female counterparts have their own communities which consist of some hierarchies. The individual’s hierarchy is defined by their position in the community and their influence to others.

They are very intelligent in the way they do their hunting. They can make different kinds of tools that they use for hunting food to display.

They communicate in the same way that humans communicate in the nonverbal cues through facial expressions and hand gestures.

They are aggressive especially the adult male ones. They are known to be capable of killing other chimpanzees.

The Chimpanzee is a very unique animal totem because their origin, behavior and even physical attributes are related to humans

The Chimpanzee’s wisdom include the following: understanding social complexity, intelligence, language skills, connection to the forest spirits, dexterity, problem solving, ability to balance compassion and aggression.

Those who have the chimpanzee’s power are able to understand the social complexity in life. The chimpanzees form their own social community group which they can manage even with and hierarchy. This teaches us that we should socialize well with others and learn to live well in this diverse world.

Those who take chimpanzee as their animal totem are intelligent just as the chimpanzees. They are able to come up with new ideas so as to work effectively and get their food.

They also have language skills. They are able to use language to communicate effectively with others in the community. The language use not only includes the verbal communication but also the nonverbal cues that are used by the chimpanzees to communicate to one another.

They know how to solve their problems effectively. This is because they have mastered the art of communication with one another and socialization. Therefore whenever a problem arises in their midst, they easily sort it out. Their intelligence is far beyond the intelligence of most animals.

They are also good at balancing their compassion for one another and aggressiveness. They can easily realize when to have compassion and where to ignore and become aggressive to take what they need from one another.

Do you need the chimpanzee power? Find out what you really need in life. Maybe you need social life, intelligence, problem solving skills and communication skills among others. It is your choice.
