Clouded Leopard
Clouded Leopard is from the field family and is found majorly in South Asia and in China.
They are vulnerable species as they are becoming fewer and fewer with time. Currently, only less than 10000 mature individuals are the total population that exist in the whole world. Every animal that is almost extinct has a unique hold on us. The lesson and magic of this animal totem is best applied when one is truly empowered.
They have a dark grey fur that is obliterated with black and dark grey blotched pattern. Their ears are black and they have black spots on their head and along their shoulders, lets look at the colors from a spiritual perspective. The black is associated with something hidden and the dark grey means in depth thinking.
They are very rare specimen and very uncommon in most places. They mostly weigh between 11.5 and 12kg which vary in males and females. Their canine teeth are very long and piercing.
They are natives to Thailand, Indochina, Malaysia, Peninsular, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan and India.
They start reproduction from an average age of 26 months. Their females give birth to one to five young ones after 93 days gestation period. Their young ones are born blind and they start seeing after around ten days from birth and they become very active after around five weeks.
Clouded leopards are considered very noble animal totem. This is because of their traits, physical characters and their behavioral characters that are very symbolic and teaches a lot of wisdom to humans.
Clouded Leopard’s wisdom includes the following: elusiveness, ability to hide family secrets, effective use of power of seclusion, understands the perils of beauty, good swimmer, expert climber.
Those who have clouded leopard as their totem animal are usually able to keep their family secrets from others. Most people in this world cannot be trusted with secrets but those with clouded leopard’s power are good in keeping secrets. They don’t just say anything to anyone. They are also expert climbers. They can climb trees, mountains or hills so fast and with a lot of ease. When we have the clouded leopard’s power, we should be able to climb to greater heights in our lives.
