The Threefold Law

The Threefold Law

Uncover hidden spiritual meanings

Part of the Wiccan tradition that derives from the philosophy of Karma.

This belief says that what you do (good or bad) will come back to your three-fold. For example, if you do something evil or malicious it can come back to you in a way that will affect you three times as bad as it affected the person inflicted. Similar to the Golden rule in other traditions, encompassing the concept of what you do returns back to you, so do good things.

This is another tenant in the pagan tradition which infers the belief that a person has control over the happening of their own life within their particular tradition.

This is different from other religions who feel as though they have one creator who tests them throughout their lives. In paganism, the learning of a lesson is enough to teach and to fine tune the technique of the individual witch.

Karma can be translated to the will action.  this is what it means in Sanskrit.  let’s look further at what Karma.

It is unclear where the original threefold Law originates. Therefore, it is important to look more closely at Karma from this perspective.

What is karma?

Karma is basically a Hindu and Buddhism concept,  it has been a rather famous term,  especially in the West.  in essence, Karma is that our actions in life are associated with consequences. If good deeds are carried out then a person will buildup an array of good karma. However, if a person conducts wrong doing during their life they can expect to have bad karma.  the threefold tradition is associated with whatever we give out comes back to us three times over.

If we look now at the Hindu and Buddhist interpretation of karma we understand that it is also connected to our previous lives. The good or bad, is associated with how we have lived on this vibrational earth plane in the past.
