Disabled Dream Meaning

Disabled Dream Meaning

What does it mean to dream of the disabled

I know you are probablly quite shocked after having this dream. Disabilities can pop up in our dreams, and yes they can be visual or not. Seen or unseen. We have unseen disabilities in my household for example and I won’t go into that too much but I want you to know that if you dream of disabilities then that is okay, it’s okay to have a disability (I have one) and it’s okay to dream of them. Sometimes they are seen. Sometimes they are not seen. And, here I am talking about real life. Now, trying to unpack this dream is difficult to say the least. And, also what type of disability was within the dream. I will try to cover some here:

  • To dream of being disabled but not disabled in waking life can be a fear-type dream, that you fear something that you just can’t work out in waking life.
  • To dream of seeing someone who is not disabled in real life, be disabled in a dream can signify that they may need some sort of emotional help or support in life.
  • If you have a dream of a disabled child or baby then this is normally (9 times out of 10) about your own inner child, if you knew the child in the dream then this could be about nurturing them more in life and that you will have to reach out to them and show them love and support.
  • To dream of an unknown person whom is disabled in a dream is about you pretending that you are happier much more in control and more successful than you may feel deep down.  This dream might be that massive chance for the weight to be lifted off your shoulders and remove all that energy that has gone into lying, hiding and faking every single day.
  • Seeing someone you know who is disabled in a dream can indicate that they will contact you soon for some advice. If they are disabled in real life and seeing them with this disability in your dream can mean that you need to show kindness to this person.

If you have had a dream about disabilities then don’t worry. I am here to help you understand what this means spiritually. Disabilities can be seen in many different ways in dreams. If you are disabled then you may dream that you're not, you may dream you are. The dream of disabilities can serve as a reminder that we need to understand empathy for ourselves. There are occasions when you may have dreamed of a baby or child who is disabled or a child with a disability. This is a dream about you and your inner child. I have a disabled child, it is something I am proud of and this is real life, and it is something I don’t tend to share with many people.

What is the type of disability shown in the dream?

This is quite hard for me to type and I don’t want to go into too much detail but you are probably wondering what each disability may mean for you. I will cover them all, along with the spiritual meaning. First, dreaming of blindness may indicate that you're overlooking important aspects of your waking life or feeling disconnected from what you are supposed to be doing. Think about the 2 of swords in the tarot deck, she has a blindfold on her but may topple in the water at any time. It could also suggest a need to trust your inner voice and to look beyond surface appearances.

To dream of deafness could indicate a reluctance to hear an important message or a warning to pay more attention to your surroundings and the inner “spiritual” growth that may surround you. In dreams where you see a child in a wheelchair, this is pointing to a need for greater independence or the courage to move forward despite difficulties or people that may get in the way. If the disability is not seen such as ADHD, Autism then there is something you need to know. Income can’t exceed personal success, and the universe has strange ways that it shows up. Someone (and I am not sure who) said if you spread the income to everyone in the world and put that in their pockets it would go back to the same people. So the question is by dreaming of unseen disabilities - are you turning into someone? How can you be more happy? - Happiness is what you become and not what you get in life. If you dream of not being able to walk then this biblically is about living a better life.

The Bible is practical and also spiritual. I will give you an example here. If you look at your bank balance and you are not happy, the bible helps you get your money in check by offering advice, therefore, if you look at proverbs 14:23 this is about our calling “in all toil there is profit, but mere talk tends only to poverty.” so this is about changing your goals and learning how to set goals will change your life, and this remains true for the dream of unseen disabilities it is about helping you make practical steps in life.

What does it mean to dream of a disabled child?

It is good, positive omen. It is about understanding people and children in life, if you have children. If not, this is about your inner child. Remember, nothing is black and white. I am sure you will agree with this. We try to fix things on the surface. We read a bit of the bible, say a quick prayer, and maybe go to church once in a while, thinking that would do it. But deep down, we're stuck. A lot of times, we see things on TV that tell us how things should be. We think, "If you do not like them, you can't get what you want." But that's not true. You need to be bold. Think about all those TV shows where the underdog wins. That's real life too.
If you have a disabled child in real life, and dream of disabilities (in any way) then this is about supporting them. Encouraging them. Listening them, and that they know  “Your dream's worth chasing” Be their guide. This is because when a child dreams, anything's possible. And when they reach for that dream, they can touch the sky.

What does it mean to dream of a disabled baby?

Okay, this can be a super challenging dream, especially if the disabled baby was yours (or you gave birth to a disabled child)  but this is about you. It's about your goals. It's about your life, and how to make your life better. If you dream you have given birth to a disabled child (in the dream) this is all about your inner child. If you have a disabled baby in the waking world and dream of the disability this is natural and normal. It does not really mean anything.  This is a dream about breaking down barriers and lifting yourself up to new heights. The baby in the dream indicates the start of something new and fresh. Something is going to start, and that is never a bad thing. It means providing yourself with the same opportunities and experiences as others. It's about instilling the confidence of your inner child.

What does it mean to dream of being disabled in a dream when you are in real life? Or vice versa?

This is a question that has been emailed to me many times. What does it mean to dream I am walking when I am disabled? If you are disabled do you dream of not being disabled? These questions are all really positive and good and I want to tell you this dream is about labels. If you are disabled in real life it is not uncommon to dream of not being disabled and you and that you can walk again, but you can't walk in real life. In all these sorts of dreams, they have the same meaning: It is a dream of patience and the fact that you need to get through all the seasons in life before you can expect the universe to answer your manifestations.

What does it mean to dream of being disabled in a dream but not in real life?

I'm sure you agree that trials in life are some of life’s best teachers, if you see yourself in a wheelchair in a dream (but not in real life) then this is a reminder that some relationships are seasonal some chances are seasonal but when we come across the seasons we change. The dream of being disabled in your dream and not in real life is about making sure you can change. Now, l have a great deal of trees next to me, in fact, there is a little wood. There is a lot of difference between the way the wood looks in the springtime and just how gloomy it looks in the autumn. What I am trying to say here is that success takes time And, dreaming of not having all your senses can mean you need to plant your seeds to grow. And, not to dwell in the winter months.

Conclusion

Yes, this can be a heartbreaking dream, if you see yourself with disabilities but don’t have these in real life then this is about you in the inside.  In terms of the meaning of this dream of seeing someone else disabled in the dream this is about how you can handle those around you -- or your inner child?
