Crab Spiritual Meaning and Symbolism

Crabs shed their shells known as moulting. They remove their shells, legs, and eyes. To make this happen. My question to you: Do you love the old shell - or the new one? Old shells were once new shells of the crab, and, that old shell might have lost its newness. It is easy with time to get old. And, forget what it is like to be young. And to face a bit of conflict with young people. Is someone having a conflict with you? If you're not careful time will take away your hard shell. Are you going to create a new shell or stay with your old one? Are you ready for change?

In a negative light, the crab can mean you find it hard to stay on the right road. And you may be coming to a new phase. We reflect on our lessons in life, and the crab could have shown up as a symbol - because your balance is out of the sink. That balance of the old shell of being removed. If people are faced with a truth they might still want to keep their hard shell than face the truth. This is about reflecting on your path. Your spiritual path. The crab moves in a sideways motion but not straight. You may face twists. You may find turns.

Is seeing a crab good or bad?

It is about change. I believe it is a good omen if you find a crab. If you fish for a crab this is also a good omen. So I will say that is pretty good. Maybe you might walk away from something. As change is coming. The crab removes their hard shell. And let's go of its old shell. Under it is a soft new shell. This spirituality is about seeing what is underneath. When you are dealing with uncertainty it is hard to trust your instinct. Your higher self is saying the "YOU" who you are when you are with your family, the "YOU" who you are when you are at work, and the "YOU" who you are with a lover are all different. This means that YOU are different people in different situations. And, sometimes we lose our way on who we really are. 

What does it mean to come across a crab on the beach?

The reality of this spiritual symbol in connection with the beach is that you have lost the ability to move forward, to grow, to be renewed. And, if you see a crab in real life, in meditation, or even on a social media video - this is a message from your spirit team that you need to do a new thing. Maybe you are afraid? Crabs are about adaptation. 

Some of us don't accept something new because our spirit team will not give you (sometimes) what you want, but this is for a reason. In life, the crab has come to you to teach you a lesson. How have you adapted? How have you grown your shell? It is a sign that it is time to see you. Now, the crab walks sideways. It walks like it does not play along with games. It is not straightforward. Sometimes you have to be bold enough to go another way.

Seeing crabs is about shedding our past life. So that you can grow. If you are backed in a corner you probably won't choose the old shell, but a new one. Something has to break when you get new insight in life. And power from God and your spirit guide. Because you would have lost the hard shell.

What does it mean to see a crab symbol spiritually?

As a symbol, you may see the crab popping up on a video, on a video or in real life. You may have dreamed of a crab. Firstly, Consider the crab's claws. They are used as defense. But also that these claws bring peace. Sometimes you have to detach when life pulls at you. When something pulls you in a certain direction. You don't have to struggle to fall. If you climb a mountain --- this will take your energy. You need to sometimes hold on if you want to go higher, but you will have to put some work and sweat in this, in order to get what you want. To fall, the crab is saying you just have to let go. I know you're tired. But the crab is about fighting for it, rather than just giving in. In the spirit of the crab, you find wisdom, you find growth and finally you find yourself. 

Crabs are about guarding against difficult times. The crab as a spiritual animal is about making something work, if you can get the solutions to your problems. 

What does it mean to see a crab?

Sometimes we are worried. And, seeing the crab is about making sure you know you are loved. You are protected. You hold healthy boundaries. Now, this is about embracing your own change in life. Maybe you are on the brink of something new. Sometimes when you talk about crabs it is a metaphor for transformation and protecting yourself. And, everyone knows that sometimes we have to grow through difficulties. I believe seeing the crab is about making sure you don't put yourself in OLD systems. But in new systems. Seeing a crab means that you will encounter some miracle in life. But you need to be ready to take that on. 

What does the Crab Totem Animal mean?

If you find your totem animal is a crab, this is about stepping forward. Listening to yourself. Listening to your own emotions. Think about the consistency, if you work hard, then you will succeed. It will get you there but consistency will keep you there. And, being grateful will help you get there. If you see the crab turn up (while in meditation) as your totem animal then this is about where you are right now.
