If you have asked how someone feels about you and then the hierophant comes up as their feelings towards you then this is about feeling protective of you. This person does care about you, and to me it is the "marriage" card of the deck. The Hierophant card usually features religious symbols that generate feelings that are strong and attractive. I am not going to lie, this is a super weird card to pull for romantic feelings. I would either see this as the person is married already, or that you are a platonic friend. The Hierophant is stood upright on my card above, holding the golden ball. This means that they are having trouble being honest with you and carrying a heavy load of emotions. I'm also seeing in this card as someone struggling at night with sleep - so you might be waking up 2am in the morning.

I also feel you are struggling to connect with another person on a deeper level. When you're sleeping you may also be dreaming about this person because they are dreaming about you. When I pull this for how someone feels, 100% they wake up first thing in the morning and think about you. They are treating you and speaking the truth of how magnetic they feel about you right now. I also believe that in this card you're energetically tied to each other with LOVE - just like you are connected and you are mirroring each other's feelings when you think of each other.

In terms of feelings I have covered quite a bit above, but to expand - pulling this card can mean friendship maybe even marriage. To me, this is a "marriage" card of the deck. I also want to say to you that the Hierophant could be considered a warning on you,, against being very stubborn, and too afraid of change, particularly in matters of theology, traditions, or ethics. The Hierophant might show up as a reminder that the target of traditions isn't to follow them --- but to utilize them to help keep living in the spirit and belief of others.

When everything is going extremely wrong in the relationship, it's the Hierophant that pops up, quiets the anxiety, and also provides really sound, practical love and religious commitment. f you have drawn how this person "sees you" then to me it is that you are someone who seeks structure and finds comfort in established patterns in life (remember the Hierophant is about patterns), whether in community, religion, or norms. This perception of this person is about making sure you deepen stuff in life. By embracing tradition and innovation they see you as able to inspire others to find harmony between the past and the present, leading the way with integrity and authenticity.

Feeling When the Hierophant is Reversed

When the Hierophant appears in reverse position, it means someone is annoyed with you - they feel lost, ghosted, or that your in a situationship, and they hold outdated beliefs. This Tarot card reversal is a short of "I am a rebel" vibes. It is about breaking free from convention and exploring those new perspectives. It also shows a period of questioning your own norms - finding answers for YOU and not conforming to the expectations of others. 

Will the Hierophant Commit?

In my view, if you are asking if someone will commit to you and pull the Hierophant then "this is a maybe”. The Hierophant is well suited to be such a leader as, like most Taureans (which is the sign of the card), he aims to generate peace and harmony in the midst of crisis. The religious structure in this card represents commitment, and this provides the lives order in love. Regardless of how chaotic and scary the commitment is, I believe this is a positive card to pull.

The Hierophant's problem that is only is, such as the Bull, he is able to be stubborn and hidebound. I also feel, as he's working for the harmony of the neighborhood, the Hierophant isn't a card which favors individuality. Harmony cannot be achieved whether everyone is marching to their own drum of life. The Hierophant is all about shared feelings, ways and beliefs. It actually may be about blending in or even surrendering to community and tradition instead of asserting the uniqueness of yours. I do think this card means marriage but its not 100% a marriage to you!
